The transition from lower to upper secondary school is a source of uncertainty for many students. The district of Grünerløkka in Oslo had a worryingly high dropout rate and worked in new ways in getting more students to complete and pass upper secondary education.

Back in 2017, Hamaren Nature Park in Fyresdal won the Innovation Award for Inclusive Design. Locals and visitors alike were impressed by the universal access trails and the gold mine of activities for all ages but felt the lack of a third dimension: height. Hence the Treetop Walk, a spectacular walkway among the treetops, featuring inclusive design to take everyone to the top.

With its new graphic profile, there is no doubt that NRK is ready for the future. Universal and inclusive design alike had to be the foundation for ensuring that everyone in society would be able to see, hear, find and use NRK's content, adapted to their use and needs.

One of Norway's major equality challenges is the gender-segregated labour market. Only three percent of Norwegian professional fishers are women. 'The coast is clear' is a Master’s thesis in service design, with a strategic, feminist design approach. The project aims to show how design methodology can contribute to facilitating a more equal, diverse culture for coastal fishers in Norway.
