Systems oriented design in Norway

Reaching the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) will require a radical rethink of our monetary system. The Bank of Norway has already started the conceptual work. The design student Glenn Sæstad has taken it one big step further. 

What happens when four directorates are responsible for delivering one service? In this major systems-oriented service design project, Halogen and Rambøll helped to find better ways of determining a citizen’s right to drive.

As the first ever design consultancy in Norway, Halogen has been chosen to assist the Ministry of Local Government and Modernisation in producing a Report to the Storting (white paper to the parliament) about public sector innovation.
