The furniture fabrics Sirdal, Setesdal, and Suldal in 100 per cent Norwegian wool are at the heart of a collaborative project between Flokk and the wool products factory Gudbrandsdalens Uldvarefabrik. The purpose was to establish a completely Norwegian value chain for furniture fabrics based on Norwegian-produced wool and to build an identity and brand based on the story of a local, genuine, and natural product with a very special environmental profile.
The project was launched for the first time in February 2015 at the Stockholm Furniture Fair. The furniture fabrics were launched in a new colour palette in September 2017 at Designer's Saturday and form part of Gudbrandsdalens Uldvarefabrik’s standard collection.

We were totally inspired by the determination and ability to go against the grain and develop a completely Norwegian woollen furniture fabric in a world of synthetic competitors. We think that Flokk and Gudbrandsdalens Uldvarefabrik have managed this very well, and we praise them for being faithful to the original idea and not cutting corners in terms of quality and design. From a technical and design point of view, the furniture fabrics Sirdal, Setesdal, and Suldal are very strong and testify to the confidence their manufacturers have in their own products and processes. We strongly believe in the ambition to build a brand within the industry based on quality, design, and the environment.
