Trip 2.0
Punkt Kartserie takes as its starting point the experience of planning a hike, which currently involves the use of a variety of online weather and map services in addition to the actual paper map you take with you. Punkt combines paper-based maps with digital real-time information to create a comprehensive user experience.
Panel remarks
A very interesting project that connects the non-digital and tactile with the digital and abstract. The candidate shows professional maturity and presents a work that appears as innovative and thorough. We particularly like how he has treated the interaction between paper and screen with insight and with respect for both surfaces, and how Punkt invites you to "play around" with destinations, distances, and routes, thus revealing a social dimension that is very attractive. This is also a bachelor’s project and places the contributor alongside a succession of talented young designers who make us optimistic about recruitment into this field.
