Good light
Filter is a lamp composed of steel, tulle, and an LED light source and is an attempt to create a conceptual work from a sustainability and socially-oriented perspective and with a user-friendly action. It consists of a cylinder resting on a tube, which is attached to a solid base, where the cylinder containing the light source faces a circular textile surface which filters the light.
Panel remarks
The professional member of the panel exclaimed: "To me, this is talent!" and it is not difficult to agree with this assessment. Filter is as an elegant and functional lamp designed with professional confidence. It is not easy to create something that looks so “simple”, and given that this is a project completed as part of a bachelor's degree, we can only say that we are impressed. The repeating circle, the replaceable fabric filter, and the almost iconic shape make this a very strong contribution from a designer who will be exciting to follow in the future.
