Vacant buildings and spaces are turning Norwegian cities around the country into ghost towns.
The Sparkling Spaces project launched by Design and Architecture Norway aims to find new methods for creating vital urban centres.
On behalf of DOGA, Eriksen Skajaa Architects prepared a knowledge report containing around 50 examples of measures that have breathed new life into vacant buildings and spaces in both Norway and elsewhere in Europe. The report is available in Norwegian only.
