Tribute from Volver consists of thirteen carpets that celebrate designers of mid-century design. Tribute is also a collaboration among specialists in design, wool, colours, textiles and weaving from Norway and India. And did we mention that Volver is made up of only one person?

It is impressive that Volver has launched no fewer than thirteen carpets of exceptional quality, considering the fact that the studio is run by only one person. On the other hand, it might be difficult to maintain such integrity in the choice of materials and collaboration partners if part of a larger studio.
This is not for us to determine, but we have ascertained that Tribute genuinely lives up to Volver’s ambition to incorporate diversity into Scandinavian design. The carpets are hand-tufted and handwoven in natural materials and we are impressed by the integral perspective based on sustainability and craftsmanship. The result is nothing short of carpets that are virtually irresistible, or as a panel member commented: They make me want to take off my shoes and socks and walk on them!
