Panel remarks

This is an exciting and ambitious project launched by young and highly competent designers with an alternative approach to multidisciplinary work. It’s impressive to see how they have worked in an interdisciplinary manner from the concept phase until the completed collection - which has no fewer than 50 items! We are impressed by the complexity and level of detail, including a self-composed sound track and exhibition at the Oslo National Academy of the Arts, where viewers could see photographs and video portraits of the models, who were also involved in the entire project.

Given the fact that this is a student project, naturally there are aspects that are less than perfect, but it is important to emphasise that the level of design craftsmanship is exceptionally high - student or no student - and their execution skills are equally as impressive. We hope that the DOGA Award for O–F–C inspires continued efforts and innovation and we look forward to its sequel.
