FRIAI, Director, UIA Work Programme Architecture for All
She is a former Vice-President of the Royal Institute of Architects of Ireland and is a member of its Universal Design Task Force. She has over 30 years’ experience as principal of an architectural practice working mainly in the areas of housing, community, sports & education facilities and urban design. Fionnuala lectures in architectural professional practice in University College Dublin and is the author of a number of publications on Universal and Inclusive Design. She is particularly passionate about how good quality human centred architecture can improve the quality of people’s lives and can contribute to making strong communities.
