Service Design. Sustainable Innovation, Visiting Tutor Royal College of Art
Dan is a designer, researcher and engineer with thirty years' experience in the development of innovative environments, products and services. His area of interest is the need to align community and organisational innovation with a commitment to equitable and sustainable development.
He is a visiting tutor at the Royal College of Art, developing a health service with Chelsea and Westminster NHS Trust and a freelance consultant with experience in facilitating people-centred design and research across education, healthcare, culture and the built environment.
He was previously director of sustainability for Buro Happold, a global engineering consultancy, and ran his own design consultancy, the SEA, with clients in the public and private sector. He is the author of ‘Designs for a Healthy Home - an ecofriendly approach’ published in the UK, USA and France.
